Regarding ideology, in my first semester, I submitted an application to join the Party to the department's Party branch, hoping to align my thoughts and actions with the organization. Although I am aware of the significant gap between myself and the requirements for being a full-fledged Party member, I have not lost heart. While striving to become a probationary member, I have strictly required myself in both thought and action, aiming to become a formal member of the Communist Party of China who contributes positively to society.
In terms of work, after enrolling in college, I ran for and was elected as the class monitor. Although I started with great confidence, I inevitably encountered some difficulties and setbacks in my duties. Gradually, I realized that Confidence alone is not enough; one must work diligently to do practical things for the classmates. Only by working hard and doing solid work does the title of "class monitor" hold true meaning, and I have always been making efforts in this direction. During the time I served as an assistant to the counselor in the office, although I was not the best performer, I consistently strived to do better, proactively completing my duties to help reduce the teachers' workload. What I learned in the office was not just basic operational skills, but more importantly, the teachers taught me principles of conduct and interpersonal relationships, and I gained a deeper understanding of the care and tolerance the teachers have for us students.
As for practical experience, theory alone is insufficient; practice is essential, being the most solid and substantial aspect. My major, Hotel Management, is highly practice-oriented. In addition to the practical courses arranged by the program, I took up part-time jobs at hotels during my free time. Although the allowance was meager, I knew that as a college student with limited social experience, I needed to learn and accumulate social experience through practice. Only through practice can I truly grow and understand that practice is the standard for testing one's success. I came to realize even more clearly how many people have worked hard for my growth, especially after this six-month internship. I will prove with my actions that only by working honestly and diligently can one find life fulfilling, and I will always have reasons to keep improving.
I am not perfect, as no one is flawless, for there is no best, only better! As long as one is willing to work hard! This is a general overview of my situation in various aspects. I hope the leaders will consider my specific circumstances and actual actions. Thank you!
