My name is XX, a student majoring in XXXX in the School of Liberal Arts, Class of 20xx. Over the past year, I have maintained a positive and enterprising mindset, holding myself to high standards while effectively balancing my studies and extracurricular responsibilities to pursue comprehensive development. I have achieved satisfactory results in both my academic performance and class work. As the university is currently conducting the scholarship selection process, after carefully evaluating my qualifications and preparing myself mentally and ideologically, I am formally applying for the National Encouragement Scholarship. Below is a report of my achievements over the past year for your review.
I come from a single-parent family, where my mother has shouldered the financial and emotional burden of our household for years. To alleviate the pressure on her, I constantly urge myself to move forward, striving to repay her dedication through my academic achievements and concrete actions. Therefore, I am applying for this scholarship with great hope.
In terms of ideology, I actively seek progress and have established a sound outlook on life and values. This year, I submitted my application to join the Party, and after review, I have become a Party activist. Going forward, I will continue to hold myself to strict standards and strive to align myself more closely with the Party organization.
Academically, I have remained diligent. I pay close attention in class and complete all assigned tasks on time. Through a year of hard work, I ranked fifth in my major courses. In addition to excelling in my core subjects, I have successfully passed the Level 3 Secretary Qualification Certificate, the Level 1B Putonghua (Mandarin) Proficiency Test, and the National Computer Rank Examination (Level 2). Furthermore, I persist in daily reading, memorizing English vocabulary, and reviewing and previewing course materials to broaden my knowledge base and solidify what I have learned, ensuring that I make the most of my study time.
