“The days that have abandoned me cannot be kept.” Yesterday is gone forever and can never be relived; tomorrow has not yet arrived and cannot be seen in advance. The life we truly possess in reality is only today, and it is always only today. To be more specific, your life is this very instant before your eyes; everything else does not belong to you.
Sometimes, it is hard to avoid being overly thoughtful. When one's mind is cluttered, even minor matters can trigger hypersensitivity: if someone looks at you more often, you might perceive hostility; if they look less, you may assume they are deliberately cold. People who are overly thoughtful are destined to live a hard life, as they are easily swayed by others' emotions and often trapped in a web of overthinking, unable to move. It is better to be a bit less sensitive and live more lightly.
If someone does not take you seriously, there is no need to get angry, nor should you compete to prove your excellence. After all, there are many people who do not care about you, and you cannot meet everyone's expectations. The best approach is that if they do not care about you, you do not need to care about them either.
Work and life should be clearly distinguished. In the workplace, you play the role of your position; in life, you are your true self. Remember not to mistake the tool for making a living as the ultimate goal of life.
