When I am heartbroken or upset, I hope you will wrap me in your arms, offering warmth and comfort so that I can heal and adjust my emotions there. Yet, every time I share my unhappiness with you, your reaction always makes me feel that everything is unrelated to you—as if I am an irrelevant person dealing with irrelevant matters. Do you know? Ultimately, the reason I cried was not the situation itself, but rather your indifference which chilled my heart completely.
Since I have chosen this path of life, I refuse to put on a false show. I seek authenticity, for only then can I truly perceive my own existence and find solid proof that I am alive.
Most people want to change the world, but few think about changing themselves.
Friendship is a ball of passionate fire, it is reckless loud quarrels, it is the pouted lips when sulking at each other, and it is that long bag of popcorn fought over with a close friend. Back then, friendship was like a large candied fruit, sweet to taste whenever you bit into it.
All people and all things are interconnected. When you give, you are actually benefiting yourself; when you hurt another life, you are hurting yourself.
