16. Never be a 'third-class' citizen: waiting for work to end, waiting for a paycheck, or waiting for retirement. Those who fail to see opportunities are foolish; those who fail to seize them are mediocre; and those who have opportunities but do not grasp them are regrettable.
17. Once, holding your hand and making vows, ended up as mere drifting smoke; once, through life and death, growing old together, all turned out to be fruitless; deep in the mortal world, I came to face my tribulations, but upon withdrawing, my heart was left scarred; within the three realms, whom do you intend to save, as tears fall, having mistakenly believed in the fate written on the Three-Life Stone.
18. In those years, the future was so distant it had no shape, and we were so innocent that we had no worries.
19. The success of a strong person lies not in defeating an opponent, but in ultimately conquering oneself.
20. Life is inherently a process of meeting and parting. Today you are the cinnabar in my heart, but tomorrow, whose horizon will you be? Everyone wishes to fulfill the vows made upon the first meeting, yet time causes people to forget their promises and lose their persistence.
21. Our sorrows are understood by none, so we seek each other's comfort; our anger is unstoppable, serving as our strongest shield; our hearts are connected, never to be severed or broken; our thoughts are intertwined, maintaining an eternal bond.
22. You are a woman longing for happiness, so you blindfold yourself to chase it, which destined you to be a loser; your heart is as pure as a maiden, so even the sound of a blooming flower startles the lake in your dreams, and what breaks will be a sea of broken hearts.
23. Time is the best medicine; only time can truly alleviate inner pain and bring consolation. One thing I know for certain: among you, only those willing to seek how to serve others are truly happy.
24. If some people disappear from your life for no reason, let them go; that is not your responsibility. Just do what you ought to do; as you become increasingly excellent, you will naturally see them reappear as if they had never left. We all trek through the years, each with our own story. A calm mind brings composure, and an open heart brings brightness. When tired, rest and dance with the breeze; when troubled, be still and gaze at the flowers; when anxious, slow down and smile at yourself.
25. Noble ideals are the guiding lights of life. With them, life has direction; with them, the soul feels fulfilled. Step forward with determined strides toward your destined goals.
26. Belief possesses infinite power; it allows you to believe you were born for that very purpose; even if the goal is difficult to achieve, you can eventually overcome all obstacles to realize it.
27. One may not know what Buddha is; without a goal, one chants blindly for years, yet remains caught in attachment and separation. Where is the true Buddha? A tranquil mind is Buddha. What is a tranquil mind? It is using wisdom to let everything go.
28. In social interactions, grasping the word 'kindness' is compassion; in matters of right, wrong, success, or failure, emphasizing 'detachment' is wisdom. Keep a heart without knots and expressions that are simple. The baseline of life quality lies in: eating well, sleeping soundly, and bodily comfort. If one cannot achieve these three, life will be full of contradictions; no matter how much else one possesses, life will lack quality.
29. Life is like a dumpling: time is the skin, and experience is the filling. Sour, sweet, bitter, and spicy are all flavors, while perseverance and confidence are the pleats on the dumpling skin. Life inevitably involves being squeezed, boiled in hot water, or 'bitten' by circumstances; if one tries to act mature without these experiences, there will eventually be a moment of exposure.
30. If you wish to succeed, remember: zero inheritance, honesty first, learning second, politeness third, hard work fourth, and shrewdness fifth. A complete life should possess 'three senses': a sense of mission, a sense of loss, and a sense of crisis.
31. Effort exists in three realms: doing one's best, going all out, and leaving no stone unturned.
