Recently, a popular song titled “Can It Be Possible” has been widely shared by many people on social media. In the comment section of NetEase Cloud Music, one highly upvoted comment reads: “Don’t give everything to someone too early, because you are still young.” Indeed, many people give their all in relationships only to end up with nothing, eventually choosing to settle for an imperfect life.
There is also another viewpoint: “You can give everything to someone, because you are still young.” Even if it ends in disappointment, life still offers the chance to start over. Youth means having options and the courage to begin again.
In daily life, people often ask me why I have been single for so long and urge me to start dating or get married quickly, sometimes even comparing me to former partners who have already moved on. But no matter who asks, my answer remains the same: love is not something to be settled for, and Marriage is not something to be entered into casually.
Before meeting someone truly worth loving, I will not easily start a relationship or enter into marriage. I do not want to disappoint the person I may meet in the future, nor do I want to give up my ability to love sincerely.
I choose to live my life without settling, without compromising, and without giving up.
