Walking the path of life teaches us that some stretches are long and others short. We are often so busy that we forget to feel and enjoy life. We spend our lives striving and chasing, yet even if we please the entire world, it is often our own soul that suffers. If we are never satisfied and unable to let go, life becomes a bitter struggle. Be more open-minded and let things go; nothing in life is more important than happiness.
You may share what you know to be right, but do not attach an expected outcome. For instance, do not demand that others follow your views, or you will only encounter resistance. This applies to both romantic partners and parents and children; forcing your beliefs on others only triggers their instinct to rebel.
Learn to forget. Forgetting allows us to release the troubles and imbalances in our hearts, giving us a chance to breathe and recover after setbacks. While it is not easy to forget painful memories, we must learn not to drown in sadness, resentment, or fear. In many cases, forgetting is a form of liberation, a purification of the soul, and a medicine that heals wounds.
Everything undergoes transformation: the large becomes small, and the small becomes large. A significant loss can be minimized through timely remedy; a small achievement can grow through continued effort. Problems can be reduced by seeking advice, and knowledge increases through constant accumulation.
All rewards are meant for achievements rather than just effort. Therefore, we should not just work hard, but work smart.
