It is easy to dodge a bright spear but difficult to defend against a hidden arrow. People who scheme against you from the shadows seem to be everywhere. Regarding such individuals, one should neither provoke them nor simply forgive them. While tolerance can sometimes create space, engaging with manipulative people often invites trouble. In reality, these individuals have their own limitations. Dealing with them requires strategy: you can outwardly pretend that nothing happened, maintaining a calm appearance, while quietly laying the groundwork to outsmart them. This shows them that being a manipulator has its own difficulties and standards. Although such people exist in every era and are hard to eliminate, maintaining a safe distance may be a viable form of self-protection.

We will all eventually grow up, and the process of growth often involves the gradual loss of our initial innocence.
