A cup feels lonely until hot water is poured into it. The scalding sensation is the feeling of love. When the water warms up, the cup feels comfortable, thinking this is the feeling of life. When the water cools down, the cup feels afraid, perhaps this is the feeling of loss. When the water is completely cold, the cup feels uncomfortable and pours the water out. The cup feels comfortable, but it falls to the ground and shatters into pieces. It finds traces of water on every shard, knowing that it still loves the water in its heart. It wishes to love the water again, but it is no longer possible.

The shortest distance between two points is not always a straight line. In human relationships and in doing things, it is hard to be direct and get things done immediately. Sometimes we encounter many difficulties and obstacles. We do not always need to force our way through; we can choose to go around the difficulties and obstacles. Perhaps this approach makes things smoother.
